HOW TO CLEAN BEESWAX WRAPS:
-
Because beeswax wraps are made from natural beeswax they need to be kept away from all sources of heat, including hot water, steam, hot food and flames. Wait until the food is cool and then cover with it with your wrap. Avoid putting them in the dishwasher, microwave oven, or anywhere they can get hot.
-
Wash your beeswax wraps in cool water with eco-friendly dish soap. Rinse and air dry before storing. The natural coating on your wrap will dissolve in alcohol so check your dish washing liquid before washing your wraps.
-
If you follow these instructions, your beeswax wrap will last up to a year. With the everyday use, stains and creases may appear, but these don’t affect your wraps ability to do their job.

HOW TO CARE YOUR BEESWAX WRAPS:
Is your beeswax wrap getting old and you want to freshen it up or do you want to make a beeswax wrap by yourself?
No problem, with our beeswax mixture it's easy.

You need for this: 2 sheets of baking paper, an ironable pad (e.g. wooden board), 100% cotton- or 100% linencloth and the beeswax mixture.
Instruction:
1. You put the first baking paper on the hard, ironable surface
2. You take the cotton/linen fabric that you place on the first baking paper.
3. Evenly distribute small pieces of wax from the beeswax mixture on this fabric.
4. You cover the fabric with the pieces of wax with the 2. baking paper
5. Now iron on the last layer until the wax has dissolved and it is evenly distributed in the fabric.
6. Cover the fabric and let it cool.
7. Remove the excess wax from the edges
8. You're done!
